As the week began dad discovered a new interest in writing, he had so many novels he wanted to get into words. Had a couple published too, didn't bring many simoleans in though.
The family realised quite abruptly that they had grown apart, and needed some serious family time. Mum Yucca no longer knew Ximenia now she had become an adult, and had never known Xeronema what with her dad doing all the child care. And as for her grandchild wisteria, she probably wouldn't have recognised her if walking past in the street.
Dad Cyriaque only knew Xeronema, his perfect little girl. This had not been great for Xeronema though, as it meant she only really knew her dad, and mad sister from the whole family.
None of the children knew their aunts and uncle anymore, which would not please late grandmother Zebrina at all. (Bellis passed away, quite young, must have been the rock star career)
But with all this chatting and reminiscing everybody, including Cyriaque, kind of forgot Xeronema's birthday. She was left to age up alone in front of the dishwasher.
It affected her deeply, and she became quite mean spirited about it. And as far as birthdays go, it didn't get any better when Dad passed away before he even got to wish her happy birthday.

The whole family was devastated, over the death, and cried for days. Except Ximenia, who mourned on a private dance floor to a top tune. She was upset, but took it in her own way.
It was a good reason for the family to become closer, but it didn't make it any easier to deal with.
Yucca finished her last self portrait, what was she to do now, she could possibly have many days alone, as Cyriaque was a bit older.
Dad was on the minds and lips of all the family, no one even said anything when Xanthorhiza began copying her younger sister.
They wished so much to have had more time with their dad. He was missing out on so much.
And the Owens house was now decidedly feminine. Luckily only Yucca has a problem with cake.
They filled their time with hot tubbing in their clothes (ok only Xanthorhiza did that) and finding new boyfriends to wear (ok only Ximenia did that)
There was good news midweek though, Great aunt Zea's body had now been found, and she could be put to rest in the family graveyard.
With Wisteria older, she was able to spend a great amount of time with her aunt Xeronema, and as a grumpy and mean spirited pair they actually get on issue free.
Yucca began work on painting her girls. Finishing a long over due portrait of Ximenia first.
Xeronema needed to wait till her next birthday to be painted. But instead yucca had ensured her relationship with her youngest daughter was strong.
Just as the family had started to calm, Cyriaque visited the family and lighted their moods.
Ximenia found more ex boyfriends and Yucca took on the task of home maintenance.
I guess this one never took her to the cinema, he had to go. Their star signs were not compatible anyway.
When no one was looking, Ximenia took down her evil guard though, were all these boyfriends getting to her? No one was like Desmond.... except maybe that guy she met on holiday in China....
The next three daughters going for the heiress title. As soon as they are all old enough a decision will need to be made.
The oldest, Ximenia. absent minded, artistic, evil, flirty and friendly. Lifetime wish - heart breaker. One daughter, but perhaps not legible for heir title as her dad was not a service sim. Still young adult, but very close to adult. One baby dady in mind, a service sim in china. She likes this one, and gets emotes to be with him all the time.
She has the original Owens blue eyes, but blond hair.
Xanthorhiza. Brave, artistic, virtuso, excitable and insane. Lifetime wish - visionary (master painting and photography) Still many days of young adult left. So far not really shown any interest in other sims, so may need a little push to reproduce. She would rather talk to herself.

Xeronema. Clumsy. heavy sleeper, artistic, mean spirited (yes that came with her last birthday) so far. no life time wish yet. Young adult in a few days.

The original singed ends to the Owens black hair was bred out quickly, and i would imagine no longer exsists in their genes.
