Well the story, I guess, begins 18 years ago, with the birth of a beautiful baby girl. Maria Owens, to Jack and Jill Owens. The day completed their life. They had just spent their whole life savings on their dream house, and then Maria had come along. Life was hard. But they had everything they wanted in their life... untill Maria's 5th birthday. Caution really should be adhered to at all times with birthday cakes, specially when lighting the candles. Nothing but a slightly singed 5 year old survived. With no money, no home and no family Maria went from orphan home to orphan home, longing for a family again.
A year before her 18th birthday, she used the last of the family money to have the remains of the 'dream house' removed. The orphanages wanted nothing more to do with her, 18 was their limit. So with nothing more than a couple of hundred simoleans in her pocket, she set off home... to a garden bench, a workers toilet and alot of grass
